My house

This is my living/Dining room with the kitchen door in the corner. I'm not sure which part is living and which part is dining, but I'll figure it out when I get my furniture!

This is the biggest of the three bedrooms. Each bedroom has a door to a balcony. 1&2 share. 3 has its own. Rooms here do not have closets so I must invest in some sort system soon.

This is my future art studio!

This is the front of my house. It was dark and raining when I took it, and I was cold so this is what you get. I have a better one on my phone, but since my phone is in German... I haven't figured out how to get it on my computer yet.

This is my beautiful blue kitchen. I will enjoy using it soon as I have been living off of microwavable foods, burger king, and the bakerys around Landstuhl. The German refrigerators are very small and they don't have a freezer. The Army is going to give me a full sized fridge/freezer and that will go in my laundry room along with my washer and dryer that the Army is giving me. The European standard washers and dryers are smaller. The washers also heat their own water, so it's common to find a house without hot water access. So you can only wash on cold f you wanted a bigger American standard. I think mine has hot water, but I picked the Eruropean W/D anyway.

My stairs are pretty.

There's more to it, but it takes a long time for pictures to upload. So those are the highlights :-)

I've been running around trying to get all the paperwork filled out to receive lots of money from the Army. Money is good. I like money. I want to make sure I get it.

This weekend Emily, Julie, and I are going to join some other people I haven't met yet at Edelweiss for some fun in the snow. I have yet to rent equipment, but it's really cheap, and should be well worth it!... even though I'm not a very good skier.
